On Sunday 20th November our Minister, Yvonne, took her last service here at Baginton Road. After over 16 years in Coventry – first as Minister at Warwick Road URC and then jointly with West Orchard URC before the two churches joined – Yvonne is now retiring and moving with Ted back to her home county of Somerset.
Over 100 people gathered to sing her favourite hymns and hear her final message before sharing Holy Communion together. It was a joyous and moving event. Followed by a presentation on all our behalf and a lovely buffet tea.
We wish Yvonne and Ted every happiness in this new stage of their lives.
