Baginton Road is a United Reformed Church in South Coventry. We are a mixed congregation who gather together to worship, praise God and to live out our faith in our local community. Every one is welcome here – whoever you are, wherever you’ve been – there is a home and a welcome. There are all sorts of people here at Baginton Road URC – young and old, disabled and able bodied. You’d be welcome!
We meet for worship twice on a Sunday, in the morning at 10.30am – a varied service of preaching and teaching, with a time for learning altogether with all ages of the church. We use a projector – so our music can be varied – but sometimes we use Mission praise or the URC hymnbook Rejoice & Sing.
We meet most Sunday evenings as well at 6.30pm, a smaller congregation that sets a more reflective tone.
Our services are usually led by our Minister, a visiting preacher or a member of the congregation.
We gather once a month in the morning and evening to celebrate communion together. All who love Jesus and want to love him more are welcomed at God’s table.
We are a busy church. During the week there are usually various discussion groups, uniformed organisations, social groups, a lunch club for older people, a fitness class, etc.
