Dear Friends
It is lovely to be asked to write to you this month.
Some of you will know me, but many of you may not. My name is Kirsty and I am the Church Related Community Work (CRCW) minister here in
Coventry. My main church is Ansty Road, but for about a year I have been coming to your Elders’ Meetings and in June I will be preaching for the first time at Baginton Road. I am looking forward to sharing worship with you most months for the rest of the year.
I am sitting in my study as I write this and through my window it looks overcast, but the rooms of the manse are warm and it feels like winter may actually have left. Things feel hopeful because there is new life around me and during this Pentecost season it is exciting to imagine what will happen if we really welcome in the Holy Spirit, in our lives and in the church. In April there was an amazing Mission Day and there will be redevelopment in the Sanctuary.
Things are exciting but only if we trust God, follow Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives. So I encourage you to let the Spirit breathe into your life with new energy and vision and be ready for the incredible changes you will see in this worshipping community.
Blessings
Kirsty-Ann Mabbott
